ABOUT YOUR TEACHER

Hello! I'm Gino, born on February 6, 2000, in Germany. My journey to becoming a semi-pro pianist has been unique. In 2018, a friend introduced me to 'Comptine d'un autre été (Amélie)' by Yann Tiersen. Despite lacking music knowledge, I learned it on a whim and loved it.

I decided to forgo reading sheet music and focused on playing by ear, using YouTube's synthesia version. Within 2 weeks, practicing 3 hours daily, I mastered the piece at 18.

Buoyed by this achievement, I tackled Beethoven's 'Für Elise'. My approach was unconventional: I played without warming up and ignored norms. I struck a balance between honing fundamental techniques (50% of my practice time) and playing pieces I enjoyed (the other 50%).

By 2023, I realized I could've progressed faster. I condensed my 4-year experience into 40 lessons, incorporating vital techniques and theory. Aspiring pianists can potentially save over 4 years by following my course, which I wish existed in 2018.
